Packing & sending your watch.

If you are sending your watch to us rather than bringing it in, please take a moment to pack it well and ship it insured. A little care here protects your timepiece in transit — and remember that, until it reaches us, the parcel is covered by the carrier and the insurance you arrange (see clause 9 of our Terms & Conditions).

1. Before you pack

• Photograph the watch from several angles, so you have a record of its condition.
• Note the reference and serial number if you have them.
• Remove anything you do not want to send. Please keep the original box and papers at home unless we have asked for them.

2. Wrap the watch

• Wrap the watch in soft tissue or bubble wrap. If it is on a bracelet, protect the clasp.
• Place it in a small watch box or rigid pouch so it cannot move.

3. Cushion the outer parcel

• Put the watch box inside a sturdy outer box, with cushioning (bubble wrap, foam or crumpled paper) on all sides so nothing shifts.
• Avoid sending a loose watch in a padded envelope.
• Seal the box securely with tape.

4. Include your details

Add a short note inside with your name, phone, email and, if you have one, your reference or quotation number, so we can match your watch to you as soon as it arrives.

5. Ship insured, with track-and-trace

• Use a reputable carrier and insure the parcel for the full value of the watch, with track-and-trace.
• Keep your proof of postage and the tracking number until the watch is safely back with you.

6. Please don't

• Write "watch", "Rolex" or any brand name on the outside of the parcel.
• Send it without full insurance and tracking.

Getting it back

When your watch is ready, you either collect it in Maastricht by appointment or arrange insured, tracked return shipping yourself. The return leg is your responsibility, including insurance for the full value of the watch (see clause 9 of our Terms & Conditions).
